Dr. Frederick Gooding possesses a comprehensive medical education. After attending Princeton University to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and African American Studies, Dr. Frederick Gooding went on to the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine before moving to the West Coast to complete a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of California, Los Angles. With this comprehensive education under his belt, the young doctor began a career in medicine that has spanned 31 years and numerous locations, including four states in the U.S. and Bermuda. In his practice, Dr. Frederick Gooding specialized in the diagnosis and management of neuromusculoskeletal disorders, which he treated through the employment of interventional pain treatments and physical medicine modalities.
Over his career, he has helped many athletes using specialized sports medicine and served as a team doctor. Recently, Dr. Frederick Gooding practiced medicine at the Gooding Medical Corporation where he served as teacher, expert witness, ringside physician, team doctor, motivational speaker, and clinical preceptor among other roles. In his role at the corporation of which he is now Chief Executive Officer and President, Dr. Frederick Gooding travelled around the United States and to Bermuda to serve as a medical consultant. At another point, he also served as the Medical Director of Peak Performance Associates, Inc. and crossed into education, taking a position as Clinical Professor at the Howard University College of Medicine.
